Overview
An Editorial Portrait Session is a professional photography session designed to create high-quality digital portraits for public, professional, press, editorial, branding, and online use.
Unlike the Fine Art Portrait Commission, this session is file-based. The final deliverables are selected, retouched digital images licensed for agreed usage.

The Editorial Portrait Session is designed for clients who need strong, polished portraits for visibility, reputation, press, websites, social media, interviews, publications, and professional branding.
The session focuses on creating a curated set of finished digital images with a refined editorial look.
This is the right option for clients who need files for communication, media, business, or public use.
Ideal For

Included
The session includes a pre-shoot consultation, creative direction, portrait session in studio or agreed location, curated proof gallery, client image selection, professional retouching of selected images, final high-resolution JPEG files, web-resolution JPEG files, and a usage license according to the selected package.
Not Included
The session does not include RAW files, unedited images, full gallery download, copyright transfer, unlimited commercial usage unless agreed, advertising usage unless licensed separately, third-party resale or licensing, major compositing or advanced retouching unless quoted, hair, makeup, wardrobe, styling, location rental, props, permits, transport, or assistants unless agreed, or fine-art prints unless added separately.

Includes studio session up to 90 minutes, up to 2 looks, curated proof gallery, 8 professionally retouched final images, high-resolution JPEG files, web-resolution JPEG files, and personal/professional online use.

Editorial Portrait Session — Signature
AED 6,500
Includes studio session up to 3 hours, up to 4 looks, curated proof gallery, 15 professionally retouched final images, high-resolution JPEG files, web-resolution JPEG files, personal/professional online use, and press/editorial use for self-promotion.
Additional final images: 350aed per image
Best for public figures, artists, entrepreneurs, press kits, websites, and professional visibility.
Editorial Portrait Session — Campaign / Publication
AED 10,000 to AED 20,000+
Includes half-day or full-day production, advanced creative direction, multiple looks or setups, wider image variety, 20+ professionally retouched images depending on scope, and a usage license tailored to campaign, publication, brand, or agency needs.
Best for brands, galleries, agencies, publications, album covers, cultural campaigns, and commercial projects.
Proof Gallery and Selection
After the session, the artist provides a curated proof gallery. The gallery contains only the strongest images selected by the artist.
The client selects the included number of final images for retouching.
Additional retouched images may be purchased separately.
Retouching
Professional retouching is included for the selected final images only.
Retouching includes refined skin work, tone, contrast, color, distractions, and overall polish.
Retouching does not include heavy compositing, background replacement, complex object removal, or unrealistic alterations unless agreed in writing.
One round of reasonable retouching adjustments is included.
Further revisions may be charged separately.
Usage Rights
The client receives a usage license for the final edited images according to the selected package.
Unless otherwise agreed, usage includes personal website, personal social media, LinkedIn, biography pages, press kit, interview features, editorial/publication use related to the client’s profile, and gallery or artist profile pages.
Usage does not include paid advertising, product campaigns, brand campaigns, billboard/outdoor advertising, packaging, merchandise, resale, licensing to third parties, NFTs, AI training, or use by unrelated companies or agencies.
Commercial, advertising, brand, or third-party usage must be licensed separately.
Copyright
Copyright remains with Luca Lombardi unless transferred in writing under a separate agreement.
The client receives a license to use the final edited images for the agreed purpose.
The client may not sell, transfer, sublicense, alter, heavily edit, apply AI modification, or provide the images to unrelated third parties without written permission.
RAW and Unedited Files
RAW files and unedited images are not released.
The final product is the artist’s finished edited image. Unedited images are not representative of the final work and are not part of the deliverables.
Artist Usage
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the artist may use selected final images for portfolio, website, social media, printed portfolio, exhibitions, awards, interviews, and promotional use.
Confidentiality, embargoes, or private-use restrictions must be discussed before booking and may affect the fee.
Payment Terms
•50% non-refundable retainer to confirm the date.
•50% balance due on or before the shoot date.
No final files are released until the full balance has been paid.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
The client may reschedule once with reasonable notice, subject to availability.
•More than 7 days before the sitting: one complimentary reschedule.
•3 to 7 days before the sitting: reschedule fee of 500aed.
•Less than 72 hours before the sitting: 50% of the retainer is forfeited.
•No-show: retainer is fully forfeited.
If the artist must reschedule due to illness, emergency, technical issue, or circumstances beyond control, a new date will be arranged.
Delivery Timeframe
•Proof gallery: within 2 to 5 working days after the shoot.
•Final retouched images: within 5 to 10 working days after image selection.
Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.
